It would have been a good day to leave! But precisely because everything went so well today, I could take steps to continue my journey. Finally the possible exchange of my Eurocheques allows me to be worry-free for at least two months, perhaps the strike in France will have ceased in the meantime.
I'm leaving in five days, not really disappointed of that little extra breathing space granted to my anxiety of change. I also decided to arrive at the latest on February 1 in Goa. I have one and a half months to see the south of India, I am anxious of Calcutta, curious about Madras, excited of Pondicherry! What will be my new feelings now that I've developed a different attitude; now that the time of Proust eventually disappear and that I do not dare to find it back?
